Your photos usually show some type of texture, such as how the leaves form on a tree, and how grass grows, what colors the grass turns ect.... Get it?

Like for example

A couple days ago I was stuck on a painting. I couldn't get the grass to look quite right, so I went to my reference of photos(also used for drawing). I looked at the types of grass lengths, colors, and other various things. From there I was able to create the grass I wanted, and also the type of color to use, for a more natural look.
